1. Who we are
Orienta is a trading name of Northreach Education Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17220179.
Registered office: 14 Monmouth Road, London, E6 3QT
Email: hello@orienta.london
Telephone: 0204 524 0433
Website: www.orienta.london
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Northreach Education Ltd trading as Orienta. “You” means the person receiving our guidance or application support.
These terms explain our responsibilities and yours when you use our services. We will make them available before you agree to receive our support. Please ask us if anything is unclear. Simply browsing our website does not authorise us to submit an application on your behalf.
2. How we support you
We help prospective students explore higher education opportunities and navigate the application process. Depending on your needs and the support we agree with you, this may include:
-
Discussing your education, experience, interests and practical commitments.
-
Explaining available course options and published entry requirements.
-
Carrying out an initial eligibility assessment based on the information you provide.
-
Helping you prepare and organise application documents.
-
Supporting applications and communicating with relevant admissions teams.
-
Providing general information about student finance and application procedures.
-
Helping you understand offers, outstanding requirements and enrolment steps.
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill, communicate clearly and treat you respectfully. We will tell you about important deadlines and updates that come to our attention while we are supporting your application.
We are an education guidance and recruitment service, not a university, awarding body or student finance authority. An initial eligibility assessment is not an offer of admission or a funding decision.
3. Our fees and partner relationships
Our standard guidance and application support are free to applicants. We do not charge a registration, application-support or cancellation fee for these services.
We may receive commission from education providers or recruitment partners when a student enrols through our service. We will explain whether your application is handled directly with a provider or through an intermediary and identify the organisations involved before submitting it.
Our application routes cover the providers and courses available through our working relationships; they do not represent every course or institution in the UK. You are free to explore other options or apply directly where the provider permits this. We will consider your needs and preferences when discussing courses with you.
University tuition fees and any third-party costs, such as English tests, translations or travel, are separate. We will explain any such costs known to us before you commit to them. You should check the relevant organisation's charges and terms before making a payment.
If we introduce an optional paid service in future, we will provide its price, scope and applicable cancellation information separately before you agree to purchase it. We will not retrospectively charge for support agreed as free.
4. What we ask of you
To help us support you effectively, please:
-
Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, including relevant previous study, qualifications and existing applications.
-
Supply genuine documents and tell us if something is missing, uncertain or incorrect.
-
Check application details and supporting statements before approving their submission.
-
Complete interviews, assessments and declarations yourself whenever required.
-
Respond to requests within agreed timescales and tell us promptly about changes affecting your application.
-
Attend booked appointments and follow the cancellation and rescheduling arrangements below.
-
Treat our team and partner staff respectfully.
Appointments, university interviews and English tests
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment, including a university interview or English language test arranged through Orienta. If an emergency or unexpected circumstances prevent this, let us know as soon as reasonably possible.
For university interviews and English tests, also follow any booking, cancellation or rescheduling instructions issued by the university or test provider, including any longer notice period. Contact them directly where their instructions require you to do so, and let Orienta know.
Rearranged dates are subject to their availability and rules; we cannot guarantee a replacement slot. We will explain any known effect on your application or deadlines and help you identify the next available option.
Orienta does not charge a cancellation or rescheduling fee for its standard free support. Any separate university or test-provider charges are governed by the terms disclosed by that organisation before booking.
We can help you structure and explain your experience, but we will not invent qualifications, employment history or personal statements, falsify documents, or complete an assessment in your place.
We may pause an application while checking an inconsistency or suspected document problem. We will explain the issue and give you a reasonable opportunity to clarify it, unless a legal restriction prevents us from doing so.
5. Applications, offers and course information
We will obtain your approval before submitting an application or making a material change to it. Agreeing to receive our support does not give us unrestricted authority to accept offers, cancel other applications or make commitments for you.
Admission, recognition of qualifications, fee status and enrolment decisions are made by the relevant provider. We cannot guarantee an offer, a particular timetable, a place at a particular campus or a successful outcome.
Course details, fees, intakes and availability may change. We take reasonable steps to provide accurate information and will tell you about relevant changes we learn of. We will help you seek clarification where needed. Our responsibility to exercise reasonable care and skill remains unchanged.
Before accepting an offer, review the provider's current course information, conditions and contract terms. Your agreement with the provider is separate from your agreement with Orienta.
6. Student finance and specialist advice
We provide general information and practical application support. The relevant funding body decides eligibility, entitlement and payment. We cannot promise tuition fee funding, maintenance support or a particular award amount.
Our support is not regulated financial advice, legal advice or immigration advice. Where a question requires specialist advice, we will direct you to an appropriate official source or qualified adviser.
Keep control of your student finance and other personal accounts. Do not send us passwords or security codes. You must check and make your own declarations and understand any repayment obligations before accepting funding.
7. Ending or pausing support
You can stop using our services at any time by contacting us. There is no cancellation fee for our standard free support, and you do not have to enrol through us.
Ending our support does not automatically withdraw an application, decline an offer, cancel a university contract or cancel student finance. Tell us what action you want to take so that we can explain the appropriate next steps. Separate provider or funding obligations may still apply.
We may pause or end support if you ask us to act dishonestly or unlawfully, if there is serious abusive behaviour, or if essential information remains unavailable despite reasonable requests. We may also need to end support if we can no longer provide the agreed service.
Where reasonably possible, we will explain why, give notice and allow an opportunity to resolve the problem. We will provide a reasonable handover of your application status, outstanding actions and documents you are entitled to receive. We will not withhold your documents to pressure you to continue with us. Immediate suspension may be necessary where continuing would be unlawful or unsafe.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory cancellation rights you have.
8. Your information and accessibility
Our Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, share and retain personal information and how you can exercise your rights. Our Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies on our website. Agreement to these terms is not consent to optional marketing or optional cookies.
Please let us know if you need information in another format or adjustments to how we communicate. We will discuss reasonable adjustments with you. Our Accessibility Statement provides further information.
9. Concerns and complaints
If you are unhappy with our service, contact hello@orienta.london. We will handle your complaint under our Complaints Policy, which explains the process and response times. Raising a complaint will not result in unfair treatment of your application.
Complaints about a provider's teaching, decisions or services normally need to follow that provider's process. We can help you identify the appropriate contact. This does not remove our responsibility for our own service or restrict your legal rights.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible solely because a provider or funding body makes a decision outside our control, but we remain responsible for our own errors or omissions where the law makes us liable.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes or reduces your statutory consumer rights.
11. Referral schemes
Any referral scheme operated by Orienta has separate published terms explaining eligibility, qualifying conditions and payment arrangements. Participation is optional and does not change admission or funding criteria. You do not need to refer anyone to receive our standard support.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The current version will show its effective date.
The version agreed when your support begins will normally continue to apply to that support. We will explain any proposed material change to an existing arrangement and seek your agreement where required. We will not use an update to introduce retrospective charges or remove rights you already have.
13. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. You may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable law, including the courts of the UK country where you live where permitted.
